THE first nominations for the Pride of Jersey 2025 are in.
The public have started naming their community heroes in the annual event organised by the Jersey Evening Post and supported by joint main sponsors DFDS and Jersey Post.
Now in its tenth year, the initiative aims to honour individuals, charities and other organisations that go the extra mile for the community – from stand-out teachers, customer-service employees or all-round angels.
All nominees are in with a chance of winning a prize worth £1,000 from the category sponsor.
Following a public vote in September, three shortlisted finalists in each of the 13 categories will be invited to a glittering ceremony at the Royal Jersey Showground on 15 October where the winners – each selected by a panel of judges – will be announced.
In 2024, the event saw a record-breaking 315 nominations submitted.
